There are reports that a four-storey building under construction collapsed on Wednesday at Obanye Street, near Onitsha Main Market, Anambra state.

It was gathered that the incident happened after a heavy rainfall in the area and it is not yet known if people are trapped under the building.

Construction was on the last floor when the building collapsed.
