In the wake of Tiwa Savage and TeeBillz‘s marriage crisis and the outcome of other related issues, seasoned entertainer – Charly Boy argued that men are the weaker sex on his Facebook page.

Five things he said stand out.

1. “How many of us can control our emotions that we resort to using our wives as punching bags, abusing alcohol, or other methods of lashing out because we are not emotionally strong enough to hold our cool.

To some extent he is right going by what Tiwa Savage said about her hubby in her controversial interview.

TeeBillz’s alleged use of cocaine, getting drunk most of the time and womanizing were just ways of a futile attempt at escaping what he was feeling since when he was a kid which is depression.

Also the feeling of guilt cheating on Tiwa Savage and seeing her slipping from his fingers after building a fortune together with her could have been the spark for such radical behaviour towards his wife and his failed suicide attempt.

2. “Men are big babies because they always want everything to be about them and the women know this and know how to massage/manipulate our ego.”

We also agree with this as TeeBillz himself revealed during his social media meltdown that Tiwa Savage was now a superstar who no longer needed him.

So because it was less about ‘TeeBillz the manager of Tiwa Savage’, it now more of Tiwa Savage’s husband.

He felt degraded from someone who called the shots to an accessory.

He wanted Tiwa Savage to massage his ego as highlighted by Charly Boy with the ‘You made me’ speech.

3.  “A lot of us can’t keep up with both working a full time job and managing a household, raising children to the extent that women do everyday. I know some of you would say, that’s not a man’s department.”

From writing songs, recording them, granting interviews, going on tours across the world and so on Tiwa Savage has more than a full time job and she had still had time to take care of little Jamil and TeeBillz had just one job – make sure she makes money off all of this and he messed it up big time.

4. “Men are also much more likely to commit suicide than women and have a greater chance of being murdered or dying in an accident.”

According to Wikipedia ‘While females tend to show higher rates of reported nonfatal suicidal behavior and suicide ideation, males have a much higher rate of completed suicides’

So this is factually true.

5. “Most men can’t really control their sexual urge, that’s why some of us can have sex even with our housemaids or anything in skirts.”

In a research comparing male and female sex drives, Roy Baumeister, a social psychologist at Florida State University, found that men reported more spontaneous sexual arousal and had more frequent and varied fantasies.

We can see this in TeeBillz seeking solace in ‘edible catering’ whenever Aunty Tiwa is out of the country.

But in any case, what does it matter? Women have only been strong. Some men just need to get with the program.
