Just like the Nigerian Senate, the House of Representatives has passed the Bill that reduces the age for election as President.
The bill seeks to alter Sections 65, 106, 131, 177 of the Constitution to reduce the age qualification for the offices of the President and Governor and membership of the Senate, House of Representatives, and the State Houses of Assembly.
In other words, the bill reduces the age limit for election as Presidents to 35 and 30 years for Governors.
