Adeleke’s death: Protesting youth attack journalists in Osun

Irate youth in Ede, hometown of late Senator Isiaka Adeleke are protesting his demise, The Punch reports.

According to the news platform the youth attacked a journalist attached to the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Mr. Tope Alabi and his cameraman.

The unfortunate incident occurred as the NTA crew moved to the residence of the former governor to cover the sad event.

Alabi was however rescued by one of the youth, who used a motorcycle to whisk him away. The cameraman ran inside one of the houses nearby as the youths wielding cudgel and sticks pursued him.
The youth believe Adeleke was attacked spiritually while some say he was poisoned hence his sudden demise.

According to them he was killed to pave way for another APC aspirant to win the next year governorship election.
