Two undergraduates, Sola Oladimeji and Awolope Roland of University of Ilorin and Ekiti State University (EKSU) respectively have won brand new Kia Picanto cars during Etisalat Nigeria’s visit to their campuses for its youth empowerment and entertainment programme known as Cliqfest. The presentation of the cars to the students sparked wild excitement at the two schools as their colleagues joined them in their celebrations.
But that wasn’t the only source of excitement at the two-day event, as the Cliqfest train also brought along the likes of May D, Olamide and Mercy Chinwo (Nigerian Idol 2 winner) to thrill the over 10,000 students. Gifts to reward participants of various competitions, medals for football matches and comedy were also part of the fun.
Motivational Speaker and President of Fifth Gear Plus Consulting, Niyi Adesanya, was also on hand to empower the students with employment, leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
