With the celebration of Nigeria at 53, Y! TV presents LIVE! – with a special live recording of the National Anthem by musician Segun Obe and the S.O Inspired Band.

Obe, who has been going strong for close to two decades has shared the stage with international acts including Lionel Peterson, Donnie McClurkin, Kirk Franklin, Pastor Marvin Winans and Kurt Carr.

“Pa Benedict Odiase; the composer of the anthem felt something – the words, the melody, there’s such a simple beauty about them that moves me each time,” Obe said. “This sounds corny, but every time I sing this anthem, it renews my faith in country, in people, in the future.”
