Armed robbery: 2 teenagers arrested in murder of tattoo artist

Two teenagers were arrested and charged with killing a tattoo artist last week during a home invasion robbery in Seat Pleasant, Prince George’s County police said.Authorities charged Raphael Chad Mwilima, 16, of the 3200 block of Weeping Willow Court and Daquan Marquis Douglas, 19, of the 7700 block of Willow Drive in Seat Pleasant with first degree murder in the killing of 23-year-old Michael Nolan Brown on May 14, officials said. Mwilima was charged as an adult, officials said.

Curl pleaded guilty to one count of child sexual abuse involving swimmer, who was 13 at the time.

Police said they were called to Brown’s home in the 600 block of Cabin Branch Drive about 10:30 that night for the report of a shooting and found him dead inside. Brown ran a tattoo business from his home and police said he was shot while Mwilima and Douglas were robbing him.
Douglas turned himself into police Thursday and investigators arrested Mwilima at his Silver Spring home on Monday, officials said. Police said they are looking for a third suspect in the case.Read more: The Washington Post
