Beyonce sings ‘Irreplaceable’ with Sophie Kotkis, a blind girl from Perth, Australia.
Beyoncé is all about making irreplaceable memories with her fans.
During a tour stop in Perth, Australia, the singer performed a tear-jerking duet with one of her most inspiring fans.
Sophie Kotkis, a 13-year-old legally blind girl with hearing and muscle difficulty, beamed as she sang “Irreplaceable” with her favorite singer.
Her older sister Ellie Kotkis apparently organized the special day for Sophie months in advance
“She’s never really been able to go to a concert due to logistical reasons so I made a video about Sophie,” Ellie Kotkis told Perth News.
“Even with everything that she’s been through, she’s been able to do so much. She raised over $1000 for people with multiple sclerosis… I put that all in the video and I just said that I think someone as amazing as Sophie deserves to meet someone as amazing as you (Beyoncé).
Shortly after Kotkis and her family were invited to attend the concert on Friday.
“I have a very special young lady here, tell everybody your name beautiful,” Beyoncé says, in a video of the evening posted to YouTube.
Kotkis sings the infamous “to the left” hook as Beyoncé sweetly strokes her face and sings along.
“She had no idea that she was going to sing with her,” Ellie Kotkis told the news site.
“It was amazing. Beyoncé is her favorite. When Single Ladies came on, she jumped up and was dancing and everyone was watching her dance. She’s still on cloud nine today.”
“There’s been a lot of things in life that Sophie hasn’t been able to do, but she loves music, loves to dance and loves to sing and this was just something for me to show the world how amazing she is,” her sister added.
