The Real Madrid fans, when they were not whistling or booing at him, voted for him to be dropped from the team.
Bale, who scored crucial goals in the Champions League final win over Atletico and also in the Copa Del Rey, grabbed a first-half brace on Sunday against Levante.
The Welshman was eager to let the Madrid supporters know how he felt about their criticisms, by covering his ears and kicking at the corner flag.
