Today was simply a fun day for those that love to see a good old fashion gbas gbos. Since the start of this Big Brother Naija season, the Housemates have been on cruise control, threading carefully not to step on anyone’s toes. But today, all hell broke lose as brewing tensions ultimately became full fledged conflicts.

It began with Maria and Jackie B, both of whom went head to head in an insult match up. Read Story here… One thing led to another, and Liqourose decided it was an awesome time to confront those who she had been meaning to confront since last night. Liquorose in the dressing room, as Maria and Jackie B were going at it, brought up the issue of Beatrice and Angel, gossiping about her last night. Unlike the Maria and Jackie B fight, this one did not seem so one sided. You could argue the pair of Beatrice and Angel were right when they said, Liquorose should have confronted privately, or you could argue that they were right when they made the point that everyone gossips about each other including Liquorose. Inadvertently you can also make the case that Liquorose was wrong for slut shaming Angel earlier, although this didn’t have much to do with the fight.

On the flip side, you could argue that Liquorose is right, regardless of her approach, because the fact remains that they really were gossiping about her, and she over heard it. Whatever way she chooses to deal with it is her choice.

With the events of today, it’s safe to assume that factions have been formed. Liqourose and Maria who have a rapport are on one side of the fence, while Angel and Beatrice and perhaps the newest add, Jackie B are on the other side. A slow start to the show has become an explosive turn of events in week two and this sort of drama is what a lot of fans signed up for. Now we can say, the show has began.
