Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina died as a result of ‘drugs and alcohol’

Last July, Bobbi Kristina Brown -the only daughter of the late entertainer, Whitney Houston and famous 90’s singer Bobby Brown, passed away after being on life support for a few months.

Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub in late January 2015 and was subsequently kept in a medically induced coma for several months before she later died in hospice care on July 26, 2015 at the age of 22.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office in Atlanta, on Friday, released a statement which indicated the cause of Bobbi Kristina’s death.

The County is preparing to release a full autopsy report, after a court order which had prevented details of the cause of death from being released, was overturned on Thursday by a judge.

The medical examiner’s office attributed the cause of death to use of marijuana and consumption of alcohol. Also, it found medications used for sedation or to treat anxiety in the body of the 22-year-old.

“The underlying cause of death is the condition which starts the downhill course of events leading to death and in this case is the immersion associated with drug intoxication.”

“Death was clearly not due to natural causes, but the medical examiner has not been able to determine whether death was due to intentional or accidental causes, and has therefore classified the manner of death as undetermined.”
