Boko Haram insurgent arrested while using ATM

The Adamawa state police command on Friday, announced the arrest of a suspected member of the Boko Haram terrorist sect.

The suspected insurgent was said to have been arrested while trying to make some withdrawal at an automated teller machine (ATM) in Gombi.

Spokesperson of the Adamawa police command, Othman Mohammed, said the suspect is being investigated by the command.

“He is now being investigated; his name or whether he is on the wanted list will be revealed after the investigation.”

Similarly, Othman Abubakar, a deputy superintendent of police, has confirmed the killing of 18 suspected insurgents in Kuda-Kaya village of Madagali local government area, Adamawa.
