Boko Haram recruiter arrested in Niger

A man involved in the recruitment of insurgents for Islamic terrorist sect, has been arrested in Niger.

According to CNN, a national police spokesperson revealed on Tuesday, February 17, that authorities in Niger have arrested 160 suspected Boko Haram militants.

The apprehended insurgents are reportedly involved in deadly attacks near Niger’s border with Nigeria.

It was disclosed that the arrests were made over the last two days in Niger’s Diffa region.

The police spokesperson revealed that a certain Kaka Bunu, who is “involved in the recruitment of (Boko Haram) members”, was also arrested.
