The Ekiti state House of Assembly on Thursday suspended the lawmaker representing Ikole 1, Gboyega Aribisogan, for 180 legislative days‎ for alleged anti-party activities.

Aribisogan was accused of plotting with the opposition to impeach the state governor, Ayodele Fayose, an allegation he denied.

He was accused of plotting with the Senator representing Ogun East senatorial district, Buruji Kashamu, presidential Adviser on Political matters, Senator Babafemi Ojudu and human rights lawyer, Femi Falana.
