The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Muhammadu Buhari, got an endorsement from former head of state, Ibrahim Babandiga on Monday, January 19.
Buhari visited Babangida at his mansion in Minna, Niger state, alongside his running mate, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, APC leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Rivers state governor, Rotimi Amaechi, among others.
While receiving the APC delegation, Babangida said: “Some of us are fading away but he (GMB) is still going strong. We will support you in this cause. I call for peaceful conduct during the elections… Contestants must be magnanimous in victory.”
