Uh-oh!

Seun Kuti, son of Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti has come out to respond to former Pres. Olusegun Obasanjo’s tearing of his PDP membership card.

The former president of Nigeria, with glee and the help of his aide, ripped his PDP membership card as he dumped the party saying he did so to signify his transition from a politician to an elder statesman.

This move came with a lot of mixed reactions from the masses but one particular voice seemed more angry than the rest and it is that of Seun Kuti.

The Afrobeat singer took to his Instagram page to post an old picture with this caption:

“#thespotwherejusticewasmurdered. Can obasanjo tear this from the pages of history? Tomorrow marks the 38th anniversary of the burning of KALAKUTA and the murder of OLUFUNMILAYO ANIKULAPO-KUTI. Bringing my family down to its knees and never recovered financially but we are gifted and always have found pleasure in those things money can’t buy. What most people don’t know is that Fela used to go around.”

He earlier reacted via his Facebook page saying, “Baba Obasanjo has blamed everyone else for this bad government except himself. You were no different and this is just an escalation of your tactics. Na so u burn my father house, kill my grandmother and blamed unknown soldiers. Hian. Oga take responsibility sometimes too. Not only are we on the wrong journey we got lost there too and are on the wrong path. We are lost in a wrong journey and Obasanjo is the navigation officer.”
