We are turning our attention fully to cancer this weekend. On Rubbin’ Minds this Sunday, we are having the Pink Pearl Foundation, which has been working hard on cancer issues for years now.
The organization has been very active, using mobilization, entertainment – including celebrity endorsements and involvement with the recent Felabration – and other tools to get young people involved in the battle against cancer.
There have been walks organized around Lagos constantly, and soon Delta State will be invaded by a team of young celebrities and professionals who are joining the mission for early detection and access to treatment.
You’ll be shocked at how much you are yet to know, and inspired to join this race – which is why we have them on TV and radio this weekend!
Rubbin’ Minds is live on Sunday on Channels Television 3 – 4pm. Channels also shows to the continent though DSTV channel 134 – and you can call in! #IamNigeria is a special weekly Friday series attached to The Future Awards, running from October – February: this week 10am on Cool FM and 10.30am on Wazobia FM.
