Santi Cazorla has denied reports claiming that he is set to leave Arsenal this summer.
The playmaker, 29, has been linked with a move back to Spain and has emerged as a target for Atletico Madrid. But the Spaniard insists that it is all paper talk and he is only focused on playing for the Gunners this season.
“I’ve seen that in the papers, but nobody has told me anything personally and the only things I know are from the papers, so I don’t know anything,” he told Spanish radio Cadena Cope.
“I’m only focused on training here and preparing well playing with Arsenal. It’s paper talk.
“I’m well, I have the confidence of everybody, the support of the fans and we hope to have a good season.”
Cazorla, who opened the scoring on Sunday, as Arsenal clinched the Community Shield, joined Arsene Wenger’s team in 2012 from Malaga.
