Change workers, change makers – on Y! TV this Sunday

Y! TV is getting some young Nigerians making change across the world, and especially in Nigeria to share ideas on what we can do on large and small scales to make change happen in our country.

The three guests work in charity, health and education. Chizoba Imoka, who is based outside of Nigeria but deeply interest in its issues, founded Unveiling Africa, which is working on reading and learning for young people, especially in schools. Jade Orode Uduaghan runs the Pink Pearl Foundation, which is working on cancer education and care and has been working on it for a few years in Lagos, Delta and other states – saving lives though early detection and subsequent support.

And then there is Toyin Fajj, of Show Some Love (SSL), who – with a group of friends – has visited derelict schools, Old People’s Homes and the Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison.

We will be talking to them about their work, successes, and challenges and how you can get involved in the work that these young women are doing! You’ll be inspired.

The show is live on Sunday on Channels Television 3 – 4pm. Channels  TV also shows to the continent though DSTV channel 134 – and you can call in! Don’t forget, you can also follow @YNaija on Twitter if you are outside the country or YNaija on Facebook.
