Chibok mothers demand Buhari’s attention, clash with policemen

Some mothers of Chibok girls abducted by Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno by Boko Haram are currently clashing with policemen, TheCable reports.

The women who are at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja where the first annual Chibok Girls’ lecture held have demanded to see President Muhammadu Buhari over the whereabouts of their daughters.

“If you give me my baby now, I will go back,” Esther Yakubu, one of the mothers, said.

She added, “Which patience do you want me to exercise? He is celebrating the the graduation of his own children, I also want to celebrate the graduation of my children.

“When a similar incident happened in Lagos, they rescued them because they are children of rich men.

“I want to talk to the president myself as a mother. My daughter is still in captivity, I can’t leave without seeing the president today.”
