[The Church Blog] 6 sessions to look out for as Shiloh 2017 commences

Shiloh, the annual convocation of members of the Living Faith Church a.k.a Winners chapel kicks off today at Cannanland, Ota, Ogun State. Wait! You didn’t know that? Anyways, now you know. Let’s move on.

You see, the beautiful thing about Shiloh is that it is packed with a whole lot of sessions which are customised for you regardless of your age and status and promises to give you a thrilling time and a good trajectory for the New Year.

  1. Youth Alive. This is specifically for the Generation Y – The Youth. If you’re looking for a time to hear the word that will practically give you the “sense” you need for youthful life, say no more. Attend the next Youth Alive programme during Shiloh and thank me later. It is always coordinated by the resident pastor and is not only a refreshing time but one full of undiluted wisdom from the older ones. Believe me, when I say, everything about Youth Alive is youthful.

  1. Businessmen and women conference – This one is for the businessmen and women not forgetting the entrepreneurs too. This is where we call forth all the clients from the spiritual into the physical and probably ensure that our clients who owe us know no rest until they pay us. Just kidding! But I hope you get the idea? My candid advice, go to this meeting with your business card, your idea, your business plan, your brain, samples of your work and your sharp mouth. Who knows? The person skabashing (praying in tongues) beside you might just be the answer to your prayer point. A perfect example of Watch and Pray. This one holds on Wednesday and Friday.

  1. Impartation on Saturday morning – If you could only attend just one event at Shiloh, I would advise you attend this. I know many people who attend Shiloh would agree with this. The impartation is always anchored by Bishop David Oyedepo; the Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide and is always a time for life-changing spiritual experiences. If you’ve heard this man preach a few times, you probably know what I’m talking about. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this for anything. The impartation takes place on Saturday morning.

  1. Mother and father of nations – This is specially designed for those who are looking up to God for the fruit of womb. God has always shown himself mighty year in year out with the awesome record of testimonies recorded after this event. Do you know someone who needs this or you need this yourself? I’d advise you don’t miss out on this. Mama Faith Oyedepo is always around with the special anointing for you.

  1. Early Morning Prayer hour– What is a camp meeting without special timeout with God? Is that one camp meeting or hangout? Early Morning Prayer hour is that time when people converge at the auditorium in the early hours of the day to engage their hearts in fervent prayers. This prayer holds between 5 – 6 AM daily.

  1. Shiloh sacrifice – If you believe strongly in the spiritual law of sowing seeds and getting a harvest, this is for you! Every year, Bishop Oyedepo explains in details the importance of the spiritual experience of sowing seeds and encourages people to do so. This holds on the last day. My advice? If you don’t believe in sowing seeds and think it’s a means of extortion, please don’t go. There’s no point trying to involve yourself in something you would criticise

Have a great time at Shiloh 2017.
