Central Intelligence Agency Director Mike Pompeo revealed in an appearance on Fox News Friday that the Trump administration was considering a “regime change” in the country and that he was sure the “lovely people” of North Korea would be happy to see a regime change.
North Korea under the regime of their Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un announced that they had conducted the test of their first intercontinental ballistic missile, which according to experts could reach Alaska. Efforts by China and South Korea to stop the country from carrying out any more tests have since proved futile.
Most recent of such efforts is that of South Korean President Moon Jae-In’s offer of talks to Kim Jong Un to discuss demilitarization of the borders and reunion of families who were separated by their war in the 1950s, North Korea is yet to respond to this offer.
