The pol, who is also a rabbi and educator, was just one sentence into his speech he’s just been given to read aloud when a wide grin took over his face.

Repeated attempts to continue proved fruitless as he wiped tears from his eyes and coughed.

Piron, who  is a rabbi and a member of Yesh Atid (the Future Party), was repeated unable to complete his remarks.  He eventually gave up and let a colleague take over.

He later told reporters he’d been “caught off-guard” by the phrasing.
