The Chairman and Spiritual Father of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Rev. Samuel Abidoye, says he’s not certain if President-elect, Gen Muhammadu Buhari, is the messiah Nigeria is looking for.
In spite of his uncertainty, he opined that Buhari, being a disciplinarian and deputy, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, who is a pastor, would make good impact in Nigerians’ lives.
In an interview with journalists in Ilorin on Wednesday, he said: “Is he the messiah we are looking for? I do not know if Buhari is the messiah we are looking.
“When I compare the two together, the President-elect is a man of discipline and the pastor beside him, I can say that corruption is gone, put it that way. You cannot stop corruption entirely.”
“I want to congratulate Nigerians again on having them. I thank God, a change of government has come. It was our prayer. All Nigerians prayed with one voice. May God help them do what they are expected to do.”
“There are so many things he should do. We lack electricity and good roads. We have nothing at all presently. I call it woes of Nigeria.
“There are many problems around. Except we have somebody like Messiah to help us, the problems are so many. Anyway you look at it, no railway, electricity, no good road, look at the level of corruption.”
