#EdoDecides: No reports of gunshots during elections – INEC

INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said there were no reports of ballot snatching and gunshots during the Edo governorship election.

Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomhole had said he received reports that thugs shot sporadically and snatched ballot boxes  at Opoji in Esan North-East Local Government Area during the election.

But INEC’s said, “I just called Mr Solomon Soyebi, who is the National Commissioner supervising the election and has denied the allegation of gunshots and ballot box snatching at Opoji in Esan North-East Local Government Area of the state.”
