A former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Michael Aondoakaa (SAN) was on Tuesday quizzed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over the Halliburton scandal.
It was learnt that Aondoakaa was probed for 8 hours after he arrived around 10am.
Aondoakaa has been accused of disrupting investigation into the scandal while he was the Attorney General of the Federation.
It was also gathered that Aondoakaa had not left the EFCC office at about 7pm on Tuesday.
A source said, “Aondoakaa has been in our custody since morning and has been answering questions on his alleged role in the Halliburton scandal. More details will be revealed later.”
The Halliburton case dates back to 2009 when four companies formed a joint venture to build a liquefied natural gas plant on Bonny Island.
