Star of American series ‘Empire’, Taraji P. Henson, has announced that she is engaged to boyfriend Kelvin Hayden.

Henson, 47, shared the engagement news on Monday on her Instagram page.

“I said yes y’all,” she wrote.

“He started with the Cartier love bracelet but that was my #Mothersday gift and then he dropped to his knee and I almost passed out.”

The host of “Men Corner” had been accused of sexual assault by Timehin Adegbeye.

In the statement released by EbonyLife TV, CEO Mo Abudu said she’s “concerned about these allegations” and is determined to find the truth.


‘Davido not sole owner of his recently acquired private jet’

Singer, David Adeleke, had claimed that he bought a private jet just a couple of days after he got his partner, Chioma, a Porsche but according to a report by TheCapital, Davido’s stake in the private jet is actually a “fractional ownership”.

The report says the singer’s financial commitment in the arrangement is minimal while the major financiers have chosen to give Davido the opportunity to look more bankable.

The arrangement, the report says, is ultimately aimed at attracting lucrative deals from multinational businesses, countries and other foreign entities.

The major stakeholders in the arrangement are said to have agreed on a sharing percentage of the prospective deals.


Meghan Markle asks for ‘understanding’ after dad pulls out of wedding

Meghan Markle has asked for ‘understanding and respect’ after her father said he would not come to her wedding.

In a statement, Kensington Palace said: “This is a deeply personal moment for Ms Markle in the days before her wedding.

She and Prince Harry ask again for understanding and respect to be extended to Mr Markle in this difficult situation.”

Mr Markle said he had a heart attack six days ago and checked out of the hospital to attend the wedding, but has now changed his mind.

He told TMZ he will no longer be travelling to the UK following media reports he staged paparazzi photographs of him getting ready for the wedding.

Kate Wright gushed about Rio Ferdinand’s Bafta win for his documentary about the aftermath of the loss of his wife.
