Jay Z cried when his mother came out as gay
Rap icon, Jay Z has said he cried when his mother came out as a lesbian.
The rapper said this when he appeared a guest at David Letterman‘s “My Next Guest Needs no Introduction with David Letterman.”
He said he cried because he was so happy.
“Imagine living your life as somebody else, right? And you think you are protecting your kids and for my mother, she had to live as someone she wasn’t and hide and protect her kids, didn’t want to embarrass her kids for all this time, for her to sit in front of me and tell me I love someone, I really cried, I cried because I was so happy for her that she was happy,” he said.
He went on to say that even though she was a bit conservative about it, she still went ahead and told him which made him do what he hardly does, which is crying.
John Boyega says he doesn’t know Toke Makinwa
Actor John Boyega has responded to an assault allegation against his bodyguard by media personality, Toke Makinwa.
Boyega was a guest on Coll FM, where he answered questions on his new movie.
“Toke Makinwa reportedly assaulted by John Boyega’s bodyguard,” Daddy Freeze had said.
Boyega then responded, “First of all, first of all, who is that,” he said.
The media personality had claimed she was assaulted by Boyega’s bodyguard at a restaurant which is situated in the premises of Eko Hotel and Suites.
