P-Square takes it to the street for new music video

We told you Peter and Paul of P-Square were back to making music together and we implore fans to brace themselves for what is coming next from the talented twins.

One half of the musical duo, Peter shared behind the scenes photos from the set of their new music video titled Bank Alert on Tuesday, August 19, 2016.

Shot by Clarence Peters, the video sees P-Square take to the street for this one since the video of their 2006 hit – Busy Body.

South Africa set to host the MAMAs for the 3rd consecutive year

The 2016 edition of the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs) is set hold in South Africa for the third year-in-running.

Since the inaugural edition, the music award ceremony has been hosted once in Kenya, twice in Nigeria.

This year’s ceremony which holds on October 22, at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg is set to reward the continent’s biggest must talents across 17 award categories including 2 new ones – the Africa Re-Imagined Award and Personality of the Year.

Last year, Nigerian stars – Yemi Alade, Davido and D’banj stole the show as they walked away with the Best Male, Best Female and  the MAMA Evolution awards respectively.

The nominations for this year’s awards will be announced sometime in September 2016.

Mr Eazi features on popular Apple Beats 1 show 

Nigerian singer, Mr Eazi was in New York a couple of days ago for an interview with the popular Ebro Darden on his Apple Beats 1 show.

In the course of the interview, the Ghanaian-based artiste talked about his rise to fame and more. He also previewed his new song Bankulize (remix) featuring Burna Boy.

Chris Rock and wife officially dissolve their 20 year union 

Actor and comedian Chris Rock and his wife of 20 years Malaak Compton-Rock are officially divorced.

The two – who had separated since 2014 both appeared in a New Jersey courtroom on Monday.

The couple got married in 1996, had their first child Lola Simone in 2002 and Zahra Savanna in 2014. They also have an adopted 8-year-old daughter Ntombi.
