Are you ready, Europe? Iyanya is coming

Iyanya has landed in Turkey’s Istanbul Atatürk airport this morning as a layover ahead of his tour of Europe.

The Mavin Records artiste will be performing in major cities in Germany, Sweden, Norway, Italy and France.

This tour is the final leg of his Signature EP tour that took him to Abuja, Calabar, London and New York.

 

Simi’s album is Number 5 on Billboard chart

Simi did it! Yes, she did it!

Her newly-released album, Simisola has debuted on the number 5 spot of Billboard’s World Album Chart.

Simi shared her excitement with her 1 million Instagram followers with the caption: “YOOOOOOO GUYS!!! ??? We charted No. 5 on Billboard World Music Charts. #SIMISOLA I think I’m gonna cry…but before then, I gotta say Thank You #SIMIARMY! This is OUR album. But most of alllll, THANK YOU JESUS. Rahhhh!

PS: We’re No. 1 on iTunes and Apple Music. Maaaan God is good. It’s beautiful to watch ❤️”

The 12-track Simisola album which is her debut project has been getting rave reviews since it dropped 2 weeks ago.

Simisola features only one guest artiste, Adekunle Gold and while that has raised questions among fans, Simi does her best to explain the reason behind that decision in this interview:

Look who will be playing Tyson in new biopic…

It’s Jamie Foxx, guyss!

The actor whose real name is Eric Marlon Bishop will be portraying legendary boxer, Mike Tyson in a new biographical film that will document the latter’s controversial life and boxing career.

The film which has been in the works for a while now is set for production, especially with the advent of a performance capture technology that will allow 49-year old Foxx to play a younger Tyson.

A release date is yet to be set considering director, Martin Scorsese is yet to take on the directing role for the movie.

It’s not the first time Foxx is acting in a biopic. He portrayed Ray Charles in 2004 Oscar-winning movie, Ray.
