Well, we can’t exactly say for sure as much as we’d like to blurt out but here’s the deal – in a tweet via President Goodluck Jonathan’s affiliate campaign teams, he was quoted as saying the next president must not be as old as he is.
The President reportedly said this today while continuing his electioneering campaign in Nasarawa state. Jonathan reeled out his achievements in the state and promised to do even more.

Now this works in two ways. [Which is why we aren’t sure for certain which to fall on.] He is either saying that should he win, the next person after his tenure would be a younger person, hence the supposed scoop or he is simply throwing a shade at his political adversary, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd).
If it is the former, it is an interesting thing to look forward to, but if it’s the latter, well, what can we say?
