An Ethiopian airlines Boeing 787 plane on Wednesday landed at the Kaduna International Airport.
Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika witnessed the landing.
Flights to Abuja will be diverted to the Kaduna airport for six weeks, as a result of the closure of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, over repairs of its runway.
Many other foreign airlines have said they would not land in the airport.
