Eunice Omole, Micheal Willia,s, Temidayo Abudu share the secret behind The Wedding Party at C3 – Nigeria’s first Content Market

Nigeria’s first content market held on August 4th, 2017 at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos and had over 200 people in attendance, consisting of over 100 registered content developers, over 20 Local TV networks, Distribution platforms & online platforms, international brands such as AFP, BBC and CANAL+. The main panel was powerful as it involved a well curated panel of industry influencers; Eunice Omole Chief Strategy Officer of EBONYLIFE TV, Jane Maduegbuna Executive Director of AFRINOLLY, Matthew Okoduwa, Lagos Zonal Director of NBC,  Zubby Emodi Head of RDM Nigeria and many more. The event had guest appearances from NFC, Chioma Ude Founder of AFRIFF, Obi Asika Founder of Social Media Week Lagos, Charles Olojede of INVIEW Technologies and Mimi Bartel of FilmOne sharing some amazing figures of Nollywood Movies.

The market was a great platform as it connected content developers from the IREP Film Festival,  AFRIFF, RTF, ANIMATION NIGERIA and NFC to the over 20 TV platforms from African Magic, Wazobia MAX, AFOREVO, Accelerate TV and many more.

It moved into a more detailed panel which focused on the largest success in Nollywood THE WEDDING PARTY as the team behind the strategy and marketing shared the secret behind the movies success the panel consisted of Eunice Omole, Micheal Williams and Temidayo Abudu

Also came the team behind Ndani Web series LAGOS BIG BOY and also the Director and Lead Actors behind the polarizing BANANA ISLAND GHOST which was premiering at the cinemas that same day, BB Sasore (Director BIG Movie) shared his insight on the industry saying

“We are in the Bollywood phase of dancing, musicals and blue lights, same way we are in the romance and comedy phase of Nollywood eventually we will diversity, we have to move with the Market.”

The event ended with a Vote of thanks by Nigerian Film Corporation Tunde Akinlonu and was followed through by a networking and cocktail event called Comics & Everything at BOGOBIRI the following day.
