FaithNaija: Bishop Mike Okonkwo affirms: “the curse causeless, shall not stand!”

by ‘Ifreke Inyang

“…as the swallows by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come,” – Proverbs 26:2 (KJV)

How does a believer come under curse?  You are not supposed to live under any curse because God has already redeemed and delivered you. He has set you free but you can willingly walk back into the curse from which He has delivered you and you can’t blame God. In other words, if you don’t activate it, curse can’t affect you. It is like pulling the trigger on yourself.

Is it not surprising that many believers are shooting themselves. Yes, you pull the trigger when you walk into sin with your eyes open, you walk right into curse. You cannot go on a trip with the devil’s ticket and expect an angel at the point of arrival. It doesn’t work that way. There are laws to obey and many believers are not listening. God wants to bless you beyond your wildest dream but as long as you are the one causing the curse, it will come on you. That is how believers attract curses to themselves. Surprisingly, we walk in to it. The wise preacher says a curse that has no reason to be effective will not be effective.”I have set before you life and death, Blessing and cursing …Deuteronomy 30:19 (NKJ).

If you are not been opposed by the adversary, then you are walking on the same path with Him, because the devil is the accuser of the brethren, He will want you to think of generational curses, but what about generational blessings which Christ has purchased and secured for you in Himself in eternity. Don’t be afraid of the devil, His curse is causeless. What you should watch out for is the curse you bring upon yourself by living in sin. Are you bringing curse upon yourself, your marriage, business or family?  I declare all such curses destroyed today in Jesus name. I speak Blessings upon you today. Walk in God’s blessings.
