Tsetse flies: Fani-Kayode should publicly apologise, or else… – Fulani group

A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has been given a final warning by Fulani socio-cultural association, Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore.

Following the kidnap of elder statesman, Olu Falae, Fani-Kayode had made several utterances about the Fulani herdsmen, one of which was describing them as ‘tsetse flies, locust and leeches’.

Evidently offended, the Fulani group has demanded an apology from Fani-Kayode, over his insult on the tribe.

National president of the association, Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Bodejo, said on Wednesday, that if Fani-Kayode fails to apologise, legal actions would be taken against him.

“We want Femi Fani-Kayode to publicly withdraw his hate speech and wrongful criminal allegation against the entire Fulani race and in particular, immediately to avoid legal action by us.”

“We want FG to deal with anybody no matter highly place in Nigeria if they did not guide their utterances.”
