A former governor of Benue State, Gabriel Suswam, has been granted bail by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.
Suswam was arraigned on Tuesday, November 10, before the court on a 9-count charge of fraud and corruption.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is prosecuting Suswam over crimes he allegedly committed while serving as a governor.
The former governor was charged alongside his commissioner for finance, Omadaki Oklobia.
Justice Mohammed granted bail to both of them, with stringent conditions, which include; N100 million bond, two sureties who must be senior civil servants of level 12 and above, or any person occupying a national office.
