Former governor of Taraba State, Danbaba Suntai, is dead.

Suntai had been paralysed after sustaining brain injuries, after an helicopter crash at the Yola airport in 2012.

The former governor reportedly died in the US.

He had been unconscious since the crash of the helicopter.

A former commissioner of information in the state, Emmanuel Bello, confirmed the news of his demise.

Bello said the “former governor died in the United States.”
