GEJ shuffles his cabinet | Who has moved where?

President Goodluck Jonathan has carried out a minor reshuffle in his cabinet following the resignation of seven ministers, who left to pursue political ambitions.

Last week seven ministers including: Health’s, Onyebuchi Chukwu, State Niger Delta, Darius Ishaqu, State Trade and Investment, Samuel Ortom, State Education, Nyesom Wike, Information, Labaran Maku, Labour, Emeka Wogu and State Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro indicated their intentions to opt for gubernatorial positions, hence resigning from cabinet.

As part of the minor reshuffle the minister of state (2) for Foreign Affairs Nurudeen Mohammad will now supervise the ministry of information, Minister of State (1) Viola Onwuliri will now be minister state of education, the minister of state for health Dr Haliru Alhassan, the minister of Trade and Investment, Olusegun Aganga will now oversee the office of the minister of state for trade and investments, the minister of Special Duties Kabiru Turaki will now oversee the ministry of Labour and Productivity while the minister of Niger delta will oversee the office of the minster of state for Niger Delta.

This was announced by the supervising minister of information after the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting.
