The 2015 edition of the GidiCulture Festival held all day on Saturday 4th of April, at the Eko Atlantic and it was quite an event – from the volley ball games to the selfies, the press interviews and the musical performances.
Saturday’s GidiCulture Festival truly lived up its intention of providing live, affordable and accessible entertainment to the African youth.
The Day activities ranged from beach soccer to The Melting Pot; an African food court, offering dishes from all over Nigeria, and of course live band music. At night, the main stage lights up with Africa’s best entertainers, hosts and DJs.
PS: The evening event kicked off very late, they kept people waiting till almost midnight before starting!
And a note to the organizers – next year, please publish an event timetable so we know what time artists will perform.
The Games:
The Volley game between Nigerian celebrities and their fans was cool. Some celebrities who participated include Kemi Adetiba, OC Ukeje, Osas Ighodalo and more.
