Edo state Governor Adams Oshiomhole, said on Tuesday, that he has nothing more to prove, having successfully floored the political godfathers in the state.

Oshiomhole, whose second tenure in office ends on November 12, 2016, also affirmed that he has laid a solid foundation for the development of the state for future governments.

While speaking in an interview with Vanguard, the governor urged the Peoples Democratic Party to forget about winning the state in the forthcoming governorship election.

“There are some things I was clear about when I came to office. First, was to reorder the politics of the state. For me, that was the starting point because this state plays host to some of the most vicious godfathers in Nigeria’s political history.”

“Where electoral fraud is celebrated and where the people are dismissed as irrelevant for the purpose of electioneering and where chieftains advertise that there are no vacancies even on the eve of the election.”
