Some unknown gunmen have abducted former Bayelsa State governor, Chief Timipre Sylva’s uncle, Chief Benson Ayerite Adigio-Eseni ,at his Okpoama resident in Brass Local Government Area of the  state, at 2 am on Sunday night.

The gunmen, allegedly moved into the community, armed with AK-47 rifles shot into the air to scare neighbours before whisking the former governor’s uncle to a waiting boat into an unknown destination.

The kidnap  is coming on the heels of the abduction of the former governor’s sister some months ago.

As at the time of filing this report no word has been heard from the kidnappers who would normally ask for ransom.
