We know you know Yvonne Nelson as an actress and a producer, even if our Pop Culture columnist thinks she doesn’t do a great job at the latter. 

But you would be forgiven if you thought she was a supermodel – as Ms. Nelson can’t seem to stop sharing those hot photos that we have come to love. As she turns 28 today, we share 7 reasons we love this determined, successful young woman, and we have photos tell all that story!

1)    She’s sexy: Yvonne nelson is no doubt one of the sexiest women in Africa. Either she’s the movies, or in social media pictures, she keeps reminding us of that every time. Bikini shots, high fashion or just casuals, Yvonne has got it all.  

 

 

2)    She’s got talent: Say what you will, there are many who insist Yvonne is a very talented actress – and with over a hundred films to her credit. That’s an incredible number that some Hollywood actors would struggle to match. Catch her amazing skills in films like “one night in vegas” , “single and married” and of course the Ghollywood blockbuster “the game”

 

3)    Her heart: The lady who produced the movie ‘House of Gold’ has a heart as shiny. She has a foundation called the “Yvonne Nelson Glaucoma Foundation” to help people suffering with glaucoma, a serious eye ailment. She has also helped a whole host of charities in her native Ghana and Nigeria.

 

 

 

4)    Her scandals:  The actress has been linked to several people in the past including Jim Iyke and fellow Ghanaian actor John Dumelo. And of course who can forget when Iyanya gave her that special medicine? 

 

 

 

5)    Yvonne’s a home girl: There are too many people who will tell you Yvonne is as humble as they come. Her interviews are always an insight into her nature – with a sincerity that manages to pierce through.

 

 

 

 

6)    Her style: Whether dressed for a casual outing or the red carpet, Yvonne is an incredible fashionista. Even when the clothes are off!

 

 

 

7)    She’s gorgeous: Self evident if you ask us. She once contested the Miss Ghana beauty pageant in 2005 and was winner for Miss Photogenic. There are very few actresses who have her kind of effect on us!
