It is believed that the camp of President Jonathan is frantically making efforts to secure a court injunction to disqualify the Vice Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, from contesting Saturday’s election.
According to reports from people in the know, disqualifying the running mate of Muhammadu Buhari, is a ploy by the Jonathan-led Peoples Democratic Party to weaken the opposition and demoralise its supporters before voting commences tomorrow.
Although no statement has been made by the APC regarding the issue, popular Twitter figures, Lola Shoneyin and Japhet Omojuwa, confirmed it in seperate tweets.
