Nigerians have always been divided along ethnic lines as well as political affiliations and a host of other things best known to them. But the #EndSARS protest came along with youths of different tribes, and ethnicities bonding; proving that Nigerians can unite in more ways than one, particularly over an issue that directly affects them all. Social media is now buzzing with many Nigerian youths sharing the lessons they have learnt in the past couple of weeks with the hashtag; #IHaveWalkedAway. From the look of things, a new breed of Nigerians has been born, and there is no going back to the old ways they have chosen to walk away from.
The level of support the youths have shown for one another in the past couple of weeks is unprecedented. From mobilizing themselves against a common enemy to standing up for one another against injustice and contributing towards their collective welfare, one can tell that the Nigerian youths have seen and embraced the right path.
The youth have bonded so much so that they now see each other as family, despite their ethnic differences and all other divisive factors that created hostilities among them in the past.
The hostilities we once saw among Nigerian youths on the internet who always seemed to be at loggerheads with one another over flimsy things sometimes, has also dropped to the barest minimum. And many of them are even surprised to have attained such level of unity almost overnight.
One of the reasons for this is because realization has suddenly dawned on them that the political class has nothing to offer them but would rather use them pit them against each other to achieve their selfish interests. They have together joined their voices to say no to that going forward; to build a better and more united nation “where peace and justice reigns.”
As some of the youth have taken the responsibility to unite the nation and drop all hostilities, it is hoped that it will bring about a lasting change that will be passed down to posterity to make Nigeria great again.
Check out some of the things Nigerian Youths have decided to walk away from:
#IHaveWalkedAway from tribalism. I will no longer be manipulated to hating another person or choosing another person simply because of their tribe
Post what you've walked away from, let's tell these politicians that these tactics won't work anymore on us.

First of all, I have been left totally flabbergasted by the mindsets of we the youths. I always hoped for this reaction, but in reality I never believed it.
So, I have come to realise that Women are much more powerful than Men in the face of adversity.

The toxic mix of religion and tribalism has become so dangerous, humanism based on science and technology is the effective antidote to this madness that has engulfed black nations.
