The Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards took place this past weekend at the Sugar Factory Film Studios, Ilorin, Kwara State and saw the wins of many Nollywood celebrities, including Femi Adebayo who had the most wins at the Award show.

This year’s nominations list is mostly led by three movies, “Jagun Jagun,” “The Weekend,” and “Adire.” These three each have the highest nominations for the award show.

The BON celebrates Nigerian movies and filmmakers, by recognising their talents and efforts put into the promotion of Nigerian and African cultures in the media, locally and globally.

Hosted by actress Toyin Abraham, the 16th edition of the show saw Femi Adebayo’s Netflix film “Jagun Jagun” cart away six awards during the weekend but there were more awards to be given to other stars in multiple categories and here are the winners of the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards.
