An unconfirmed report has it that a Special Adviser to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on Overseas Affairs and Investment, Professor Ademola Abass is enmeshed in a wife battery and philandering allegation.

Professor Abass is alleged to have abandoned his home occasionally to spend time with women and his lifestyle has affected his work in such a way that the governor had to remove the investment arm of his work because he was working amidst the distractions with different women.

The report says that Princess Kikelomo, who is an accomplished Marketing Communications Executive and MD of Z-Edge consulting has endured domestic violence for a long time in her marriage but matters have gotten worse lately, hence, the marriage is on the verge of breaking apart.

Prior to this moment, Abass has been described in the media as a ladies man who has lots of cash to throw around with the ladies.

According to a source, “Initially when she complained about the promiscuous nature of her husband, I was like ‘leave him alone now’. We talked about how he could contact a sexually transmitted infection, and pass it on to her. She complained about this to him but was only beaten by her husband who dared her to go and report to Lagos State Government Domestic Violence Agency.

“There was a time she told Professor Ademola Abass not to take his concubine to their building site, but Professor responded with serious beating. At this time, Princess Kike was pregnant with their second child and not too long after, she underwent a surgery. She had to call some of the Commissioners in Lagos State who is close them to their home to intervene on different occasions, and after he pays for the treatment he brags that she can do anything and nothing will happen.” (sic).

Another source who is close to the family stated that one day Princess Kike was forced to confront one of the married girls her husband was having an affair with, whom he brought to their matrimony home when she travelled out of the country for surgery or her second MBA in UK.

“Professor took the girl outside the country on official assignment on Lagos state funds. The lady in question also attended a function Professor organised on December 12, 2017, where Princess Kikelomo confronted her to steer clear of her husband. She later found out that the said husband was still having an affair with her until emails that exchanged between the married girl and the husband came into the open and how the husband gave the married woman money to rent an apartment in Magodo so she too can leave her husband’s house at the time,” the source disclosed.

Efforts to salvage the relationship has been left afloat and a lot of people are advising the wife to leave the marriage Since no one was in support of the marriage in the first instance. Now, this heartache have affected her health and career.
