How Nigerian undergraduate was stabbed to death in Ghana

A Nigerian national, who was an undergraduate in Ghana, was stabbed to death during a robbery attack over the weekend.

The male student, Nazifi Osman Muhammed would meet an untimely end when he was attacked in his home on Saturday, 29 November.

Nazifi and his brothers Jamiru Osman, and Mustapha Musa were in their apartment when masked robbers, armed with knives, paid them a visit at about 3:30am.

The brothers, who are all students of Information Communication Technology (ICT) at the Sikkim Manipal University at Kwame Nkrumah Circle, were cut with knives and left injured.

The victims were taken to Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, by their neighbours, but on arrival at the hospital, Nazifi was pronounced dead as a result of deep cuts inflicted on his chest.

The Kotobabi District Police Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Elizabeth Tiekuwa Dankwa, has confirmed the unfortunate incident.

She would also disclosed that one person has been arrested in connection with the robbery attack.
