A few hours ago, American/Nigerian rapper Wale was on one of the most popular radio stations in the USA – Hot97 FM for an interview.
In the course of the interview, Wale made some comments and revelations about Nigerian music such as Wizkid, Davido and Olamide.
He revealed that he once brought the idea of signing Wizkid to Jay Z’s Roc Nation.
The rapper, who was in the country in February, also implied that Drake copied Wizkid’s vibe on Controlla – one of the songs on his Views album.
