“I don’t need Ayo Oritsejafor’s PFN position” – Paul Adefarasin

by Isi Esene

Paul Adefarasin, the senior pastor of the House on the Rock has denied interest in succeeding Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, the president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) who is scheduled to vacate the position in February 2013.

Adefarasin described the reports of him lobbying for the position as “mere rumours masterminded by malicious people.”

According to the pastor, “It is obvious that some people are planning to send out wrong messages with the aim of dividing the body of Christ. Let me say that I have never struggled to take up such position. I am not interested in it and I do not need it.”

He reportedly continued saying he already has an enormous task leading the House on the Rock which he founded.

In his Christmas message, Adefarasin appealed to Nigerians to look beyond their struggles and hardship as God’s gifts come in unattractive packages.
