They say too much of anything is bad, but for Pauline Potter, the world’s heaviest woman, it just has to be all or nothing.

The 46stone (292kg) woman who divorced her husband, Alex, three years ago is undertaking a massive ‘sexercise’ regime which she claims has helped her in shedding some of her weight.

Despite her ballooning weight, she somehow reconnected with Alex and the couple now have marathon sex sessions of up to seven times in one day with Pauline claiming this is what keeps her ‘slim’.

The ‘sexathons’ with Alex, who has visited her twice a month for four days at a time, have had a dramatic effect on her size, helping her shed a stone each month by sweating off the calories.

She told Closer Magazine that though she can’t move much in bed, she burns about 500 calories a session – maintaining “it’s great exercise just jiggling around” on the bed.

Even though one of Pauline’s legs weighs more than Alex does, the couple are able to enjoy sex using different positions.

Pauline, 47, met Alex online in 2002 and they married three years later. She already had a son named Dillon from a previous marriage.

She said she decided to enter herself into the Guinness Book of Records to shame herself into dieting. She is now planning on moving in with Alex in Arizona, a move she can’t make until she reaches a descent weight of 38 stones (241kg).

Pauline, who confessed she still eat Big Macs, said: “I tell Alex he needs to visit more so he can help me shed the pounds quicker!”
